First Friday has taken place every first Friday since May 2004. First Friday happens rain or shine. Normally in a no rain scenario there is outdoor music. Rules of First Friday dictate that it is raining at 6 there will be no outdoor entertainment. If it is not raining then it will go on until it rains....if it rains.
